Member & Volunteer Coordination:

  • Engagement Tracking: Maintain and update BPN’s central database to reflect member progress across different programs, ensuring no one falls through the cracks.
  • Community Liaison: Act as a secondary point of contact for program participants, answering routine questions and facilitating smooth communication between members and Program Managers.

Special Projects & Interest-Based Tasks:

  • Skill-Based Contributions: Apply specific personal interests—such as data analysis, technical writing, event planning, or research—to specialized projects that benefit the BPN community.
  • Impact Reporting: Help Program Managers collect and organize success stories and data metrics to showcase the effectiveness of BPN’s individual programs.
  • Feedback Loops: Assist in creating and distributing surveys to gather member feedback, helping Program Managers iterate and improve their services.

Qualifications

  • Versatility & Adaptability: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to switch between different types of tasks and program requirements.
  • Administrative Foundations: Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom).
  • Communication: Professional and warm written/verbal communication skills for interacting with a diverse team of remote managers and members.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively with multiple leaders, managing priorities and deadlines across different program areas.
  • Passion for Growth: An interest in learning the "inner workings" of BVI professional advocacy and a desire to grow through diverse experiences.
  • Commitment to Accessibility: A dedication to ensuring all program support work is inclusive and accessible to the BVI community.
